Stay warm in your caravan or motorhome with efficient, high-quality CARAHEAT diesel heaters. Our high-quality diesel heaters come with an industry-leading 2-year warranty and can be installed by our South Auckland workshop in your caravan, motorhome or tiny home.

CARAHEAT Diesel heaters are designed in New Zealand and manufactured with high-quality parts including Kyocera glow plugs (Japan). They are available in 2kW, 5 kW, and 8 kW and come with remotes and Bluetooth controls. 

Installation Service

Diesel heater installation takes approximately 1-2 days and is typically performed at our South Auckland workshop near Pukekohe (a mobile service is available for tiny homes and off-grid setups).

What Size Heater Is Right For Me?

Diesel heaters for caravans, motorhomes and tiny homes (or off-grid setups) typically come in 3 sizes:

2kW: This size is suitable for heating 15–23m³ (i.e. small cars, campervans, truck bed campers, and small tents).

5kW: This size is suitable for heating spaces 24–50m³ (i.e. medium-to-large caravans, RVs, vans with pop-tops, and large tents in deep winter).

8kW: The largest and suitable for heating 50m³ (i.e. Tiny homes, large workshops, large motorhomes, and multi-room setups).

**Note some "8kW" diesel heaters share the exact physical body and combustion chamber size as a 5kW model, but are tuned to pump more fuel. Placing one in a small area eventually causes heavy carbon sooting and unit failure.
